Peabody Magnet High School: Came to UALR from a highly successful Peabody Magnet program which won the Louisiana state title in 2004 and ended the year ranked No. 5 in the nation by USA Today after going 41-0 ... Earned First-Team All-State honors in 2005 after averaging 23 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals per game ... Was a three-time all-district selection (2003-05) ... Earned All-State honorable mention accolades in 2004 and was named preseason Second Team All-Louisiana in 2005 ... An All-Central Louisiana selection in 2004 and 2005 ... Peabody won four-consecutive league titles and finished in the top 28 three times during his prep career ... Enjoyed a 72-3 record over his final two seasons ... Played under head coach Charles Smith, who was named the national Coach of the Year in 2004 ... Nominated to both the Louisiana All-Star game and the Louisiana versus Texas game ... Graduated 24th in his class with a 3.4 grade point average and a 3.8 GPA in his core classes.
